Welcome to the Konedobu Kanu Klab, otherwise affectionately known as 3K! Formally established in November 2006, our goal is to build a professional paddler-oriented club while helping to spread the sport of outrigger canoeing, or va’a, throughout Papua New Guinea.

As a not-for-profit sporting club, 3K welcomes your interest. We look forward to sharing our sport and its rich history of culture and tradition with you.

3K’s kanus rest at the Royal Papua Yacht Club (RPYC), which is along Champion Parade (opposite the Sir Hubert Murray Stadium) at Konedobu in the National Capital District. We are in the process of locating an additional space where we can place one or more kanus.

Sessions will, in future, alternate between the two venues. In the meantime, all sessions will depart from the boat ramp at the RPYC.

As an affiliate club of RPYC the KKK is increasing its membership and offering an alternate activity on the water for the RPYC Members & KKK Scholarship holders to enjoy.
